Jamie Francisco is the kumu hula of Tiare Apetahi Polynesia, handed down in 1985 from her mother Kumu Hula, Patricia "Patsy" Newalu, who had studied and danced for Kaui Zuttermeister. In her youth, she received specialized training from her hanai parents, Mr & Mrs George Keala, and studied Traditional Hawaiian spirituality under RMK Freitas, a Kahuna Pule. Therefore, has since been recognized as the only female chanter at the Temple of Lono, Nu'uanu, O'ahu. Her work in the field of Hawaiian spirituality and culture takes her off-island and abroad on an as-needed basis. She teaches private lessons of Hula, Kanaka Lomi, and Spiritual counsel at her home office in Ocean View, Island of Hawai'i. Currently, Kahealani shares the art combination of Kanaka Lomi Reiki massage, delightful aroma essence, and attunes to those in need of energy alignment of the mind, body & spirit.
